Short-term and Long-term Solutions

We are very excited about helping you fulfill your staffing requirements for nurses. As we all know, the very serious shortage of qualified, experienced nurses is negatively impacting health care in the United States.

Temporary employment agencies throughout the U.S. are taking advantage of this situation by circulating the same existing pool of nurses – and charging you a substantial premium for their services. According to the American Hospital Association, 56% of hospitals report they are using agency or travelling nurses -- at great expense – to fill vacancies. This short-term fix is not only expensive, but it doesn’t solve the long-term problem. And it does nothing to alleviate the costly high turnover of your staff. Even if you elect to follow this path, very few facilities can satisfy their nursing requirements by relying on domestic temp agencies.

INR-Staffing believes that there’s a better way. INR nurses are willing and able to sign long-term (3-5 year) employment contracts. These contractual commitments with your facility are at salaries that are competitive and consistent within the industry. We do this by offering Domestic Registered Nurses to fill your immediate, short-term needs. Our primary focus is on recruiting qualified permanent International Registered Nurses to satisfy your long-term nursing staffing needs.

How Do I Start?

You can use our Register Online form to let us know how many nurses you require, the specialties, the salaries and benefits you offer, and your timeframe for hiring. If you prefer, you can contact Warren Ross, President, directly, via phone 1-(212) 868-4720 x675 or email wross@ross-central.com. You can also inquire through our Ask a Question form.

INR will begin by explaining the possibilities of working together for a mutually beneficial arrangement. Once you agree to work with INR, your organization will sign an agency agreement. Upon signed agreement, we will begin the candidate selection process.

After an initial discussion, designed to pinpoint your individualized needs, INR will provide contact information on those candidates that we believe are suitable for your organization. You can then interview those candidates by phone. After the interview process is complete, an employment contract should be offered to the selected candidates. INR can provide a model contract, upon request. Please be advised that the standard agreement is for a minimum of 3 years.

What Will It Cost?

Our fee is a percent of the nurse’s first-year gross salary. That fee is due and payable 30 days after the nurse begins employment with you. We are certain by that time you will have had the opportunity to recognize the expertise that INR nurses brings to their jobs. This one-time fee varies, based on the number of nurses you choose to employ through International Nurses Recruiting, and the lengths of the contracts. In most cases, it is far more cost effective than using traveling and/or temporary nurses – sometimes by up to 50%. If any of the RNs leave on their own accord within the first 90 days of employment, INR will find replacements, free of charge.

There are additional costs associated with the required Employment Sponsorship that are paid directly by the hospital.  These costs include covering immigration expenses, as well as initial housing and travel expenses for the nurses. International Nurses Recruiting does not receive any monies or profit from these items.
